The game automatically scrolls from left to right and the player has to run for his life and jump over hills to reach the level-end before the nuclear explosion following him can reach him

Agree with the previous comment. Graphics and sounds are excellent but animation (jumping) is awkward and game is a little jerky

...this one needs a frame limiter: my GPU is loudly melting.

Nice idea. When I read the description, I immediately thought of the retro Dinosaur run flash game.

That said, the graphics are nice, installation was smooth, but the gameplay isn't either one. The controls are awkward, and the levels get boring very quickly. The only difference is the size of the platforms that you can jump on. I also dislike games which rely on changing directions in mid-jump.

Excellent and very addictive game!
SDL/OpenGL/opensource is a great mixture in general,
and having D-sourcecode here makes it even more interesting imho :)
Can't wait for Atomorun2009 :D

I absolutely agree. It looks beautiful and the sounds are excellent. A very good game for when I have a few spare minutes.
