Great game, but it's a pity it has closed its source.

People were complaining about bad graphics and music, so I invested some time and money to improve it. Hopefully it will pay off by selling licenses. Sources might get open again one day, after the costs are covered, but I can't guarantee.

BTW, You can still fetch Njam 1.25 from Subversion repository at sf.net.

Are you paying royalties for the PAC-MAN name and idea?

Royalties for a game idea? Are you joking?

This must be one of the best pacman game I have ever seen:
-single player campaign
-co-op mode
-multiplayer on the same keyboard
-multiplayer over LAN or net
-level editor
-different kind of ghosts and powerups

Graphics are really ok for such a game.

Recently the project opened a Subversion repository, which is kept up to date with fixes, patches and new levelsets. If you have a patch that fixes something, or you have some nice graphics or music, please let me know by e-mail.

It is very well done, but the graphics are too ugly. We need better graphics!

Well... graphics is not as bad as music! I apreciate great effort put in this project, but music should be redesigned.

I LOVE this music. I found it well suited for this game. A sweet and slow ambiant song, nothing more, nothing less... btw, i just forgot to rate it; although i didn't play it for some month, i had a lot of fun playing it multiplayer at school :D

Maybe this is lots of fun in multiplayer, but the maze design just doesn't seem very interesting or good for single player.

You should play the ORIGINAL.COOP levelset at first, and try other stuff later.

Okay. I did that before I commented in the first place.

Now what?

Well, there is a maze editor - integrated in the game.

As you can see in readme file, the author (me) includes mazes that other people send to him. So why not create your own set of mazes and let us all enjoy. If everyone agrees those are the best, we can name them DEFAULT or something like that...

There are not many good pacman clones on Linux, but this one is. Good fast gameplay, lots of levels and even a leveleditor.
Highly recommended.

Awesome game, check it out! posted by jacob @ 82.198.120.42 on Nov 18 2004 2:57 AM 55555
Not only nostalgics as me can remember those old days of the Mr. and Ms. Pac-Man, even more! I only tried out the single player mode and it's really frenetic!! The graphics are clean and funny and the soundtrack accompanies the game very well. This is a great game, good job!
