h2h online chess game written in PHP

OCC allows to play any number of games simultaneously against your friends spread all over the world with nothing else but a simple web browser... provided you own some PHP-ready web space. OCC recognizes checkmate, stalemate and allows to draw a game. In addition, finished games will be archived. All games can be reviewed step by step.

License: free

Additional System Requirements: PHP-ready web server to set up a chess server and any (graphical) browser to play.

i have translated it to german language and added registration and corrected some minor problems.

meine version ergänzt die accounts.php um neue nutzer,
wollte das kleine programm freihalten von mysql.

habe übrigens probleme mit dem laden von pgn-archiven+dateien.
wer kann helfen? das bild wird geladen, aber züge werden nicht angezeigt.

Ich habe mir Deine Version einmal angesehen. Du hast das sehr schön gemacht. Ich bin dabei, das Script ins Deutsche umzustellen und habe jetzt gerade entdeckt, dass Du schon sehr viel Zeit in das Script gesteckt hast.... ..die Arbeit kann ich mir sparen und die Zeit lieber in eine Weiterentwicklung stecken. Könntest Du mir das Script per Mail einmal zuschicken? wdoehler@web.de

I just set this up for some of my friends/family and I to be able to make a few chess moves during the work day :-) It seems great so far, the interface is light and easy and the whole system is very simple to use and setup. Email notification of moves would be nice, but I understand the reason(s) for not using them. I highly recommend it, at least for casual use. Hez

I have modified the Online Chess Club source code and added a couple features such as allowing end users to register themselves. It is available on Storm's Shanty and a direct link to the playable install of my implementation of OCC is at http://storm.northwestcomputerservices.com
