Awsome Game but I think a couple of bugs posted by XelloBlue @ 72.37.171.28 on May 11 2010 6:13 PM 55555

I love this game. However I some times when I am playing the game, it just quits out; Seems like a segfault. Also when I start playing the game is really laggy; but after I view a replay it fixes it

I am running the windows version on XP (I'm at work)

If your interested and there is a way for me to send you some debugging info let me know.

I know there are some issues in the sound mixer that may make it segfault. I still have to check them out. BUT! What graphics card are you using ? I noticed on my wifes laptop with intel card it lags from time to time too.

Never mind, I had Visual Studio 2008 open along side, it was apparently causing all the issues.

Thanks for the quick response :)

  Update 0.3.3 posted by tuppe666 @ 78.32.125.173 on May 3 2010 11:41 PM 55555
Wow I just updated to the latest version. I have to say its one of the the best little puzzle games around. Things I'm disappointed about is it does need more levels. I think that's more a reflection to how fun it is. Although while playing today between easy and professional is that easy is a better game. Professional does not have the same soft of strategy that easy does. That said now up to 18 levels. Hope this will grow to enigma proportions.

Glad you like it. I'm currently working on getting more levels in. The latest release has 18 different levels in Pro set. Easy set contains easier levels from pro with changed rules/speeds/sizes, they're only mirrored, so I never count them as different levels. Version 1.0 will come out when Pro set grows to 23 levels. After that, new levels / levelpacks will be left to community.

0.3.3 compiles and installs fine; starts up, too, playing music and so. But when I want to start a game I'm supposed to select a levelset - but there's nothing to select from!? What am I missing? Data is installed, and other stuff installed there (ball images etc) are found...

At least my system (openSUSE 11.2 64bit) has problems with the d_type in the dirent structure, which is used to find the .set files. For now I have replaced the if (file->d_type == DT_REG) clause in directorylister.cpp with always true, now I can play :-)
But maybe someone knows the proper solution?

Trying to install but ./config always ends in

No package 'theoraenc' found
No package 'theoradec' found

I understand the theora packages are provided by ogmrip, which I have. There is no lone "theora" package otherwise available on the repositories. Can someone on Ubuntu 8.10 please tell me the dependency I am missing?

I give it to my mom to play (she loves it!) but the control over the field require faster and more accurate mouse movement. Sometimes, mainly into level 2, the mouse responsive is horrible. Please improve that. I will give 5 stars for this amazing open source game!
