Zyberflux is set in another universe and your 'ships' flies on a flux (rail) while navigating a myriad of obstacles and surviving by destroying, and shooting down enemies in order to reach the end of the level where 'The Big Kahuna' awaits.

not sure if i'm missin deps or something...but i got a bunch of errors when i tried to compile....too many to post here, so i pastebin'd them here

any ideas? compile was done in ubuntu.

It looks like you need

Is there a version of Clean available somewhere that isn't missing source files and riddled with errors like: ../include/clio.h:113:19: error: IL/il.h: No such file or directory ../include/clio.h:114:20: error: IL/ilu.h: No such file or directory

That just means that DevIL isn't installed, however I too had (different) troubles with the publically available version of clean. I was emailed some binaries which worked, however since I am only licensed under the GPL, I can't legally distribute the binaries without source.
FYI, you need the following installed:
doxygen
DevIL (libdevil-dev in ubuntu)
libgtkglext1-dev
libgtk1.2-dev
glib(-dev)
SDL
fmod from www.fmod.org
