Moon-buggy is a simple character graphics game, where you drive some kind of car across the moon's surface. Unfortunately there are dangerous craters there. Fortunately your car can jump over them!

| I'm not very used to playing console text games... but this one is really addicting! It could add some improvements, though... like a bit of color in the graphics (I know the moon is white, but there could be color for the other things), and maybe add some more different obstacles | |||

| I do not usually like playing games on the computer-- except for moon-buggy. I do not have time or interest to learn complicated games. I like the fact that high scores belong to hobbits. I love the simplicity of it. It is imaginative, challenging, and highly addictive. It plays on all platforms and looks good in all sizes. It is a good game to play while listening to streaming audio, or while waiting for a software program to download. Thanks Jochen Voss! Your game is a classic! | |||

| Six months with a new distro and beyond the new tweaks and quirks I felt something was missing... Aah! t'was Moon-Buggy, the one and only! The sans pareille! Now I touch base! ... and, in a transparent Konsole over a desktop background of a Martian sunset (check out the Pathfinder images from Nasa) it's an even greater delight! | |||

| This game is simply fantastic. It should be on every distro installation disk. When the installation is long and you're bored, just switch to another console and have a small ride! simple but entertaining. Plus it doesn't have a lot of dependencies so it's one of the first prog that was on my gentoo system.... | |||

| I hope that this game ends up a clone and inhancement of the original. I think the original graphics where far surpieror to what you have now and I hope you will atleast bring them up to par with them. I wouldn't remove the graphics you have now though as the game can be played in a console... be nice to play on my next gentoo build to pass some time. The greatest thing about the original was the music. That stupied little song they had as you bounced along was the best. Anyways looking good and keep up the work. .... hmmm someone should start a 3d rmake of moon buggy | |||

| Moon Buggy needs sound posted by Anonymous @ 67.41.233.72 on Jan 5 2005 6:56 AM | |||||||||||||
| I think thats what is wrong with most console-text games. It could easily be set as a compile time option (so as not to exclude those playing who have decided to forego X Would it spoil moon-buggy to add sound? Oh, wait. Its the moon! so it would be silent, wouldn't it... I still want sound ;) |
